Chapter 3
In this unit you are going to create a power point and vocabulary lesson that you will teach to both yourselves and to me! I will expect that you use your own language when creating this power point(meaning no cutting and pasting!) and that you will include all of the goals for learning within it. I have included a list of goals for learning that I would like you to share with yourselves and with me. I will attach a rubric on page 2 to explain further my expectations.
Goals for Learning-
Define gravity and understand how it affects you
Describe how the earth and moon move in space
Explain how the earth’s revolution and the tilt of the axis cause seasons
Describe the four major phases of the moon
Explain how an eclipse happens
Explain how the moon causes tides
Describe the features of the moon
This is only a list of the things that have to be included in your power point. There are also should be pictures, drawings, and illustrations explaining all of the above concepts.
